From the Photographer:

Night Flowers features my nighttime photographs of flowers taken from 2020 to 2024. While flower photography often depicts fresh blooms in daylight, I aimed to capture a different perspective. I photographed flowers in the dark, focusing on those that are wilting or struggling. Using my iPhone with a flash, the images may appear raw or even unsettling.

Each flower reflects various stages of life, much like our own experiences. While we typically celebrate youth and peak moments, we tend to overlook the times of struggle or vulnerability. However, this is where we find courage, wisdom, and strength. By embracing these cycles, we recognize that life's ups and downs are natural.

The years 2020 to 2024 felt like a period of darkness for me personally. Photographing these flowers became a consistent and meditative practice, helping me reflect on my challenges and appreciate life in all its stages.
