I Walk, I Find — Hanna Shapiro
I Walk, I Find is a poignant photo zine series by Hanna Shapiro that captures the profound emotions of displacement and resilience through a series of vibrant images. Born out of a tumultuous period in 2021 and 2022, Hanna's journey from Hong Kong to Europe, and finally to Japan, reflects a deep personal struggle with loss, separation, and the search for home amidst the chaos of global crises. Each photograph serves as a testament to the challenging yet transformative experiences she faced, revealing how happiness, though hard-won, becomes a conscious choice in the midst of adversity. These zines are not just a visual diary but a powerful exploration of finding beauty and hope against a backdrop of uncertainty.
