ANNE MURAYAMA

Anne Murayama, a former pre-med student, transitioned to the arts and has since developed a distinctive approach in her image-based work. She was the chief editor of Lomography’s magazine and curator-manager of Vetro Gallery. Since 2013, Anne has curated over 10 international exhibitions and produced more than 30 photo books and zines. In 2023, after overcoming a life-changing illness, she founded Ephemere, a small photo space helping image-based artists through publications, workshops, and exhibitions. She lives in Tokyo with her husband and their cat, Kiki.
